Parvati Valley

Picture taken from a bridge crossing the Parvati River in a small village 'Kasol,' facing a mountain that contains a village called Gran at the bottom.

The beautiful Parvati Valley is in the Indian state of Himachel Pradesh, near the border of Tibet, and amongst the Himalayas.

This river provides fresh water from melted snow off mountains. Natural hot springs run down into the edge of this river at temperatures around 70 degrees at times.
Locals all around the valley connect pipes with the hot springs to transfer to private/public baths, or temple baths.
Locals also wash their clothes by hand in the clean, fresh river.
