Parvati Valley

Picture taken from a bridge crossing the Parvati River in a small village 'Kasol,' facing a mountain that contains a village called Gran at the bottom.

The beautiful Parvati Valley is in the Indian state of Himachel Pradesh, near the border of Tibet, and amongst the Himalayas.

This river provides fresh water from melted snow off mountains. Natural hot springs run down into the edge of this river at temperatures around 70 degrees at times.
Locals all around the valley connect pipes with the hot springs to transfer to private/public baths, or temple baths.
Locals also wash their clothes by hand in the clean, fresh river.

Antoni Gaudi - Sagrada Familia

The Basilica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia

A large Roman Catholic church in BarcelonaCataloniaSpain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). Although incomplete, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Construction passed the mid-point in 2010 with some of the project's greatest challenges remaining and an anticipated completion date of 2026—the centennial of Gaudí's death.

Gaudi designed the columns (pictured), to mirror trees and branches, which were in his eyes God's creation. A man highly influenced and in love with nature, he designed the church to be the tallest building in Barcelona, and tallest church in the world, with the central spire of Jesus Christ to be surmounted by a giant cross; the spire's total height of 170m will be one metre less than that of Montjuïc hill in Barcelona as Gaudi believed that his creation should not surpass God's.

With a gothic style, this amazing church has a significant interior and exterior with so many highly detailed components, from human, life sized stone modelling on the facade, to astonishing spires, all representing something significant from religious aspects to nature, yet to stay every little detail is aesthetically amazing and extraordinary!

Storage Unit for Beach Goods

A ''Storage Unit for Beach Goods," designed and constructed for HSC, in year 12, 2010.

This unit effectively accommodates and compacts many various 'beach goods' into a single unit, providing an ergonomically friendly system for householders (who live around beaches) to deal with their beach goods. This enhances and replaces the current and previous nature of beach goer householders having their beach goods messy around their houses or apartments, and increasing space efficiency.

This unit constructed from mainly plywood, timber, rubber and just 2 supportive metal brackets. This project was nominated for 'DesignTECH,' yearly exhibited at the Power House Museum.
